Mr. Vivek Tiwari

Mr. Vivek Tiwari is a seasoned BFSI professional and a distinguished leader in India’s microfinance sector, with over two decades of experience spanning Microfinance, Risk Management, Financial Inclusion, Lending and Strategic Planning. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development & Management from the Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology, Allahabad, and has a proven lending track record exceeding ₹25,000 crore.
As Chairman, MD & CEO of SATYA, Mr. Tiwari has been instrumental in shaping the institution’s strategic direction and advancing its mission of inclusive growth. Under his leadership, SATYA is working towards its vision of empowering 10 million households by 2030 through affordable credit, entrepreneurship and financial inclusion.
He also serves as Director of SATYA Micro Housing Finance and Founding Director of SATYA Shakti Foundation, extending SATYA’s socio-economic impact beyond financial services.
A prominent voice in the microfinance ecosystem, he has served as Vice Chairperson and Board Member of MFIN. His leadership has earned SATYA recognition as a “Changemaker” by Palo Alto, while he was recently honored with the “Dynamic CEO of the Year” Award at the 4th Edition Bharat NBFC & Fintech Summit & Awards 2026.
