Mr. Vivek Tiwari

Mr. Vivek Tiwari, an accomplished leader in the field of microfinance, holds a Postgraduate degree in Rural Development and Management from the Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology, Allahabad. With an impressive career spanning more than two decades, he has been at the forefront of driving initiatives that promote financial inclusion, social entrepreneurship, and impact investing. As the MD & CEO of SATYA, he has undertaken the pivotal role of steering the company’s strategic endeavours, guiding its ethical expansion, and nurturing entrepreneurial development at the grassroots level. Mr. Tiwari has also served the Board of MFIN (Micro Finance Institutions Network) as Ex-Vice Chairperson.

Under his insightful guidance, SATYA has established a significant presence across 26 states in India, extending its services to over 16 lakhs underserved people through a network of over 830 branches in nearly 61,200 villages. Bolstered by a dedicated workforce of over 8500 employees, SATYA achieved a monumental milestone by achieving assets worth more than INR 6000 Crores.

Recognizing his impactful contributions, Mr. Tiwari was honoured with “Bharat Jyoti Award” for playing a pivotal role in accelerating the JLG/WSHG movement.  Mr. Tiwari has also been recognized as Best CEO of the Year by Prime Insights Magazine in September 2023 for his contributions in Shaping a New Paradigm of Women Empowerment through Microfinance. Under his exceptional stewardship, SATYA has recently been acknowledged as one of the “Most Promising Microfinance Institutions to Watch in 2024” by Entrepreneur One Magazine.  His achievements extend to being named among The Most Promising Business Leaders of Asia at The Economic Times Asian Business Leaders Conclave hosted by ET Edge, and as The Most Promising Entrepreneurs of Asia at The Economic Times Asian Business Leaders Conclave in 2021.
