Mr. Taejun Shin

Mr. Taejun Shin is a Co-Founder, Representative Director & CEO of Gojo & Company, Inc. Before Gojo, he worked as an investment professional at Morgan Stanley and Unison Capital. To deal with an enormous number of investment projects, he studied programming and automated many financial models, some of which are used even today. While working in the sector, he founded Living in Peace, an NGO, in 2007 and created the first microfinance investment fund in Japan. He has been involved in Japan’s child foster care for more than a decade and co-established Japan Office for Standards on Children Services in 2021 to conduct third-party inspections on the local authority children services in Japan. He is the Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum and is the youngest founding board member of Endeavor Japan. He is an author of 9 books, a finisher of the 1648 km ultra-marathon, and a Karate black-belt holder.
